This allergy season, you will swear five products – Chronic Illness Awareness

Terrible, sleety nose, sneezes of the body, eyeballs the itchiest ever. Angering side effects that affect one ton of us will come in the allergy season. The CDC has reported that some 19.1 million US adults, also referred to as hay fever, are diagnosed with nasal allergies each year. This requires a great deal of Kleenex.

We complement the best Allergy Control product you can purchase on Amazon right now in order to buffer the pollen burden. Because saying, “Bless you” gets old very quickly sixteen times a day. There are many different kinds of allergy relief products available on the market. Some of them are remarkable for their efficacy in alleviating allergy patients.

Some of them are excellent at reducing your pocket cash. If you want to improve your allergy symptoms the largest way, then you should concentrate on those products that help relieve allergies.

    Avoidance

Avoidance is always the best treatment for allergies, irrespective of the trigger of allergens. The most effective, cheapest, and simplest options are not always observed as interesting as possible. Despite their disadvantages, many people choose drugs or vaccinations instead.

Fortunately, many simple methods, old as well as new, are available to prevent this. Remember, any such measures can only be useful for your allergy management.

    Dust Mite Proof Bedding

Doctors may disagree with many relief products for allergies. The one thing that everyone agrees is that your first line of defense is zip dust mite-proof bedding when you are allergic to dust mites. The zippered covers are a hedge between you and your mattress and pillow with millions of allergies causing particles. They have special microwave fabrics or fabrics covered with special supports to prevent dust mite allergens from being exposed.

Focusing on the basics of a routine

Usually, one of two things happens when patients start the “allergyprotection” process of their home. Some patients become so overwhelmed with all the different allergy-proofing methods that they do nothing. They do nothing. This is always a disappointing result, in particular, if the process is so easy and cheap. The focus on the fundamentals of routine cleaning and thorough temperature and reduction in humidity can result in fewer symptoms and much-improved life quality.

    Steam Inhaler

In order to alleviate your symptoms, try a 10-minute vapor therapy. This personal Vicks steam inhaler is like a cozy blanket to help you relieve coughs, dry throats, and the congestion of your chest.

Pro tip: Pop in the machine a fragrant menthol pad for an extra calming session.

Start with the easy things first.

The process of allergy protection is all too costly and consuming. All house-wide filtering devices are overpriced and often ineffective where simple purification and reduction of moisture and temperature are sufficient. Clearly, extreme measures need to be taken in situations. However, it is best to consult your doctor before you go down this route. First of all start the easy stuff.

    Laundry care

Allerpet (De-Mite Laundry Additive) and Alkaline Laboratories both make products for the removal of allergens from the bedding. You can safely wash in cold or warm water if you are using one of these special detergents or laundry additives. Bed linen must still be washed every week to prevent allergens from building up.

    Soap & Hot Water

There are new, synthetic bedding matching for warmth, but which can withstand washing easier since the fibers don’t clump. The ideal washing water temperature is 130 degrees F at least to kill the mites in the bed. The emphasis is on the bedroom because there’s a minimum of one-third of a day spent there 24 hours. It is also the most dust mites in the room.

    Nasal spray

The nasal spray known as Flonase, which is non-addictive, is now available over the counter and we could not be more excited. Why does this happen? The quick-acting formula offers 24-hour relief from symptoms of nose and eye allergy without letting you go to sleep. Spray, sprinkle, use and repeat easier.

    Allerpet Coat Conditioner

It is not the fur or the skin which causes the problem if you’re allergic to furry animals. The allergens are a protein that is present in the animal’s saliva and urine. The bits of this protein stick to the fur and skin every day they grow up or empty their bladder. Whenever they dry up.

The protein is drained once it is dry and then airborne, making it easy to inhale. The animal is temporarily washed away, but the protein is back once the animal licks or urinates. The Allerpet Solution coat conditioner removes the problem protein softly and safely and has a residual denature effect. Regular use of the product reduces allergens from the animal in your home.

    Vacuuming

If a solid surface such as linoleum or hardwood can not substitute for the tapestry, it must be thoroughly and often cleaned. Recall the furniture, draperies, and other materials, which can not be washed, removed, or substituted with a vacuum. Vacuuming problems involve getting airborne through allergic dust mites and molding particles. Particles of dust mites may remain atmospheric for about 15 minutes and redistributed across the home environment. Clearly, allergic people should not vacuum and should remain outside the area until the particles of dust resettle again.

    Walgreens Neti Pot Soft Tip

Many of these are excellent products to prevent attacks of allergies. But what if you’ve got one already? There’s a neti pot here. These small teapots, often filled with saline or saltwater, help to breathe easily on your nasal passages.

The FDA says that safe and effective products are to be used when used properly. The FDA’s greatest observations are to rinse with water distilled or sterilized (not to tap) and to carefully follow the directions. The Walgreens Neti Pot is an extremely affordable option, with a super soft tip for protecting your nose. For 10 bucks, not too bad.

  • Juice Cleansing Tips for Detox Success in Fibromyalgia Symptoms

Juice Cleansing Tips for Detox Success in Fibromyalgia Symptoms

Your digestive system holds the toxins when they try to release them from your body, you can only speed up the process of cleansing them. Cleansing provides a way for your body to remove the toxic materials from your digestive system quicker and more effectively so that nutrition and energy can be used to replace these cells.

Resetting your body is a great way to increase the ability of your immune system to combat symptoms of fibromyalgia. By purifying your body, you can release toxins and increase your ability to combat fibromyalgia symptoms every day.

    The Undervalued Organ

Probably the largest undervalued organ in the body, the colon or large intestine. The primary task of the colon is to store and remove waste from the body at a length of 1.5 meters and keep the balance between water and waste. It also absorbs certain vitamins, including vitamin K.

Because most people eat a diet full of processed products with low fiber and constipation, gas, and float. A high-fiber diet full of fresh fruits, vegetables, grains whole, and legumes can often enhance digestion and removal. Due to column clearing, the colon is fully evacuated and harmful waste and toxins are removed.

    Digestive System Cleanse?

A cleansing process is a process of removing the toxins currently held in your digestive system. The bowels, kidneys, and liver must be cleaned up with a nutrient-rich diet. This process enables you to restart your immune system and digestive systems with a clean slate. You will have the ability to eliminate your body of toxins quickly.

A number of cleanses are available, some of which include additional vitamins or juicing. Without first consulting your doctor, cleansing the digestive system should not start because it can be risky if you have certain medical conditions.

    Homemade Colon Cleansing Diet

Any colon purification system aims to help the body evacuate the colon contents completely. To do so, you need to add high-fiber foods to your diet carefully. Be sure to drink as much clean, fresh, pure water as possible during this diet to easily transfer waste products through the colon.

    Precautions

    • It will take your doctor before starting a cleansing programmed, if you have any serious medical conditions. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, do not embark on this plan.
    • With a cleaning diet, use only organic foods.
    • Drink as much water as possible, but not less than 8-10 glasses a day and a large glass of psyllium water.
    • Do not stay more than three consecutive days on a colon cleansing diet.
    • Choose a time to rest at home and don’t worry at uncomfortable moments about needing a toilet!

    Removing Toxins Helps

The removal of toxins from the digestive system can reduce muscle rigidity and pain in people with fibromyalgia. If your body is full of toxins, you have a lot of daily work to get rid of toxins and you don’t have much time to reduce inflammation and pain.

For example, as a vegetable juice cleanse rapidly increase your intake of positive elements, your body does no longer needs to spend any energy on toxic cleansing. Your toxins are instead washed through cleansing on the gastrointestinal tract.

Removing these toxins releases the positive ingredients, such as the vitamins and minerals in your vegetable juices, from your cleanse into your cell. The quick removal of toxins will also be helped by drinking plenty of water during purification.

    Cleanse for Health

Dr. John Harvey Kellogg started nearly a century ago that “90% of diseases are caused by the colon’s improper functioning,” while the entire health care system often believes that colon cleansing is a cornerstone of holistic health. You will rejuvenate the whole system by clearing the body of excess waste and helping the colon more effectively to squeeze toxins out of the body.

A homemade colon purification diet requires simple dietary changes that help the colon to free itself from excess waste. Many people eat the SAD (Standard American Diet) intake not enough fiber to remove digestive waste properly. The result is constipation, unfinished waste disposal, and digestive stagnation. A homemade colon purification diet helps to completely evacuate the colon naturally and safely.

    Types of Cleanses

    Juice cleanse

Hundreds of cleanses are available, some with strict guidelines and some with very loose guidelines. The main cleansings are cleansing and cleaning of vegetables or juice. The juice is used to juicer fresh plants and fruits to add a large quantity of pure nutrition to your body.

During cleaning of your juice, it is advisable not to eat or drink anything else to allow your body to focus on the removal of toxins. Juicing cleanses are normally performed for 3 to 10 days, but for a lot longer time.

    Chemical cleanse

Chemical cleansing is another type of cleansing. The person ingests pills, plants, and other natural goods to cause the body to release toxins by this type of cleansing. This kind of cleansing is normally done alongside a certain food plan, for example only vegetable consumption. Some people also use an enema or colon purification to cleanse the toxins from the organism with a chemical cleaner.

  • How Fibromyalgia and Arthritis Rheumatoid Collectively

How Fibromyalgia and Arthritis Rheumatoid Collectively

The risk of fibromyalgia is increased by inflammatory forms of arthritis.

The risk of fibromyalgia increases due to inflammatory forms of arthritis. This may, at least in part, be due to chronic pain itself, which makes the brain not only hurts, but also things which are not usually painful, highly sensitized.

This hypersensitivity makes pain for arthritis worse and can lead to widespread pain and other symptoms, like fatigue. “People with fibromyalgia have pain receivers that shoot all the time, notes Ann Vincent, MD, fibromyalgia researcher at Rochester Mayo Clinic, Minneota.

And people are tired of fighting this pain; they have restless sleep and cognitive problems. The burden of symptoms is much higher, we need to recognize.

Symptoms that are different from rheumatoid arthritis Fibromyalgia

According to Dr. Zashin, “It may be difficult to distinguish between rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia if people complain about hand pain, for instance. There are several ways. First, the DIP (distal interphalangeal joint) or end joint closest to nails is typically not associated with rheumatoid arthritis, which would favor a diagnosis of fibromyalgia or possibly osteoarthritis if there is any tenderness.

Fibromyalgia is not linked to joint inflammations commonly seen with rheumatoid arthritis but is frequently complained by patients with fibromyalgia about the “feeling” of their joints. The complaint of widespread body pain related to typical tender fibromyalgia also corresponds to fibromyalgia rather than rheumatoid arthritis.

    The Basics

Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disorder in which the immune system of the person attacks the joints incorrectly and causes inflammation within and around the joints which causes suffering, swelling and stiffness. Roughly 1.5 million people suffer from rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in the United States.

Fibromyalgia, on the other hand, is not an autoimmune disorder, but an unknown syndrome that causes widespread pain, mainly muscle pain and fatigue and mood changes. According to the Arthritis Foundation, over 3.7 million people in the USA have fibromyalgia. More women than men are affected by both conditions.

    Pain

An inflammation is one of the major differences between RA and fibromyalgia. The RA is one of the main symptoms of joint inflammation. People with RA often note that on either side of their body their joint pain appears. You may also have pain in your left wrist if you have a painful joint in your right wrist, for example. A study has shown that RA and fibromyalgia patients have more difficulties to look after than those in the control group.

    Both cause fatigue

Often Fatigue is the hardest FM symptom for others to describe. It’s a comprehensive and comprehensive fatigue that can impair even the simplest and most basic daily tasks. It can be described like somebody pulled you out of your power supply and disconnecting you.

    The coping mechanisms are different

However, you can ease AR pain by keeping quiet or losing mobility-but, if you still have fibromyalgia pain, your body gets more seized and your pain intensifies. Another important tool for coping with RA and fibro is to be warm.

    Double Trouble

When both conditions occur (“comorbidity”), “the person generally develops secondary fibromyalgia first,” says Kaplan. The two conditions usually involve rheumatoid arthritis. The complicating things can make a pain from one condition worse than from the other. “But in this order, it may or may not be diagnosed.” Carmen Gota, MD, a staff physician from the Cleveland Clinic Department of Rheumatology: “When patients have fibromyalgia, everything hurts more,” says.

And “The stress of uncontrolled rheumatoid arthritis can make fibromyalgia more painful,” as it says in a 2014 issue of Pakistan College of Physicians and Surgeons, students with rheumatoid and fibromyalgia have a much higher perceived pain and significantly higher rates of joint disease activity than those with RA.

RA and FM have a connection

Researchers think some people have a FM genetic predisposition that may be triggered whenever they develop another disease. It is not unusual for FM to be present in another disease, such as RA, osteoarthritis, lupus etc. An autoimmune connection between RA and FM can also be established. This was not proven, however.

Both can be difficult to diagnose

A few common symptoms, such as joint pain, fatigue or flu-like, may be difficult to diagnose and share with both diseases. Since blood tests and x-rays in the early RA stages may appear normal, it can be difficult to determine whether symptoms are caused by RA or FM.

How to Treat Both Conditions Simultaneously

RA pain usually hangs around, while fibromyalgia (although it may wax and dilute in intensity) pain typically sticks around. The first step towards effective treatment is to see what condition you are suffering because a RA diagnosis requires a swift response to protect you against long-term joint damage.

You can focus on several key areas for more relief, good joint protection as well as a better quality of life when you are suffering from both RA and fibromyalgia:

Sleep qualityEnough good sleep, particularly if you are living with a chronic condition, is vital to good health. Patients suffering from fibromyalgia are quite common sleeping problems, with poor sleep leading to increased pain and emotional difficulties.

Daily pain levelsSome experts feel the RA pain can trigger and raise the symptoms of fibromyalgia flares. The management of your joint pain daily with the right medicine will therefore help control both conditions.

Emotional health–RA and fibromyalgia can seriously upset your life, and a lot of people can be depressed by flares or loses function. It is even more important to lean on a strong support network if you are suffering from both conditions. Communication is essential to emotional management and support groups can provide significant advantages.

  • Non-painful event hypersensitivity can be part of Fibromyalgia Pathology

Non-painful event hypersensitivity can be part of Fibromyalgia Pathology

Fibromyalgia is a chronic, widespread musculoskeletal syndrome that affects approximately 2% of the population worldwide, experts say. The ACR reports that fibromyalgia is more prevalent among women in 5 million people in the U.S.

In previous trials, patients with fibromyalgia reported decreased tolerance for normal sense stimulation (auditory, visual, olfactory, and tactile), as well as increased pain sensitivity. I print this study because the understanding of fibromyalgia is pretty fundamental. When there’s not supposed to be a pain, we feel pain. It is especially interesting to look at the areas of the brain, however, which are activated.

Functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) imaging of the brain

Fibromyalgia pain dysfunction involves an increased sensitivity to pain known as hyperalgesia. A recent study published in Arthritis & Rheumatology, a journal of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) shows that people with fibromyalgia have hypersensitivity even if events are non-painful based on Functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) imaging of the brain.

The brain imaging reveals reduced activation in primary sensory regions and increased activation in sensory integration regions. These responses to non-painful stimulus may be the cause of problems with tactile, visual and auditory stimulation. Patients often do report reduced tolerance to environmental and sensory stimulus in addition to the pain.

Decrease activation of the visual and auditive areas, both primary and secondary.

In this study, 35 females with fibromyalgia and 25 healthy, aging-matched controls were tested by researchers using functional-magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). The average duration of illness was 7 years and average age was 47 years.

According to the study, in response to multisensory stimulation during daily activities, patients reported increased unpleasantness. In addition, fMRI was shown in areas of primary, secondary and auditory visual activation and sensory integration activation, both of which had a reduced activation. These brain abnormalities mediated increased discomfort in visual, auditory and tactile stimulation reported in daily life by patients.

Click here to Get these Products or Visit Fibromyalgia Store

    Conclusion

The study found that brain reactions to non-painful events in early sensory cortices were highly attenuated, and an amplified reaction at later stages of sensory inclusion in the insula was presented, and these abnormalities were linked to the major FM symptoms, which might indicate that this is linked to syndrome pathology.

“Our study provides new evidence that fibromyalgia patients ‘ visualization has altered central processing to multisensory stimulation, which is linked to key symptoms of fibromyalgia and can be part of the disease pathology.” Dr Marina López-Solà, University Colorado Boulder said. The finding of reduced cortical activation in patients ‘ visual and auditory brain fields may offer new targets for neurostimulation therapy in patients living with fibromyalgia.

    Methods

In 35 women with FM and 25 matched controls, brain reaction to auditory, visual and tactile stimulation has been evaluated by functioning magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). Correlations between brain responses and three types of outcomes were investigated to determine the relationship: subjective hyper-sensitivity to daily sensory stimulation, spontaneous pain, and functional disability.

    Hypersensitive responses to external stimuli

In various physical and biological systems, hypersensitive responses to external stimuli have been widely observed as shown in FM patients, such as power-grid failures, abrupt electronic circuit and chemical / mechanical state transitions, epileptic breakdowns in the brain, and sensitive cochlea detection in frequency.

    Explosive synchronization

The underlying mechanism for abrupt transition of the state within such systems has been a network property called “explosive synchronization” (EN) that is described as a discontinuous transition from an incoherent state into a synchronized state. A disruption spreads rapidly across the entire network through synchronization in a network which shows ES condition(s).

Our past work suggests that ES conditions in normal human brains do not exist. We assumed that ES could be a mechanism for FM hypersensitivity, with the expected outcome of increasing network sensitivity and chronic pain in patients with enhanced ES.

Click here to Get these Products or Visit Fibromyalgia Store

    EEG network configurations

To test this hypothesis, the EEG resting state network configuration of 10 FM patients were first analyzed and the correlation between ES intensity and chronic pain intensity was determined whether the FM brain network displayed ES characteristics (not found in normal humans).

We looked into positive correlations in the degree of frequency, wide frequency differences, and high-frequency dis-assortment among the network connected nodes (a tendency for higher frequency nodes to connect to lower frequency nodes, or vice versa).

These are typical conditions of the network that show that progressive syncing is deleted and suddenly global synchronization around a key point is triggered. Secondly, in response to stimulation, we tested if those ES conditions generate hypersensitive network features.

The sensitivity of this network was quantitatively compared with the frequency disruption in human brain nets with ES and non-ES conditions. The model and empirical data analysis shows that ES can be a network hypersensitivity mechanism.

  • How To Love a Woman With Chronic Illness

How To Love a Woman With Chronic Illness

LOVE is your husband, who works in the master bedroom rather than at a much bigger desk, at your maker table because he wants you to have as much access as possible to natural daylight. If you feel the dull effects of Seasonal Affective Disorder and Bipolar Depression, you can get any insight into the rays of sun.

LOVE is your husband, because he’s considerate, not even moving your jewelry boxes and any other scattered paraphernalia on this small desk around you. Rather, he works around it and plies his body gamily into a chair with a feminine appearance. Just like he works on your fibromyalgia, anxiety attacks, PMDD, moods up and down and you’re keen to hear that all’s finally all right.

LOVE always loads and unloads your husband, prepares most of your meals, takes the majority when you have pain or feeling extra low due to your bipolar 2 disorder. LOVE is your husband Chronic disease is not the same as easy times or interludes with every marriage, but you are always making up and just getting on despite your bone-deep frustration with the sometimes-sucky situation.

LOVE is about 30 laundry loads, a unmade bed and heads lost. It frequently involves voices raised, tears defeated and doors slammed. But it cuddles as your child finally goes to bed, just sit on the shoulder of your husband, feel his heart beat a steady rhythm and let your concerns float away.

LOVE is your life partner that listens to your catastrophe thinking and takes you back to the earth, makes reasonable plans, and doesn’t matter if you feel like you’re sleeping for some extra comfort with the stuffed animal you had since you were two.

LOVE is mysterious pelvic pain after surgery and driving to endless physician appointments. It is about the competitor health afflictions of your wife every day. It often feels more unilateral. It can sometimes be heavy and unbalanced and one partner can be so caring and responsible. There is a lot of chronic illnesses –physical or mental-to be carried around by your wife and no one is a saint with endless patience and good intentions. Your husband’s approaching, however.

The first step is to talk about uncomfortable, awkward things, which you prefer to bury under the dirty carpet, and to talk about them. LOVE is couple therapy. It is your own vibes and words, and with your appearance, your sighs and silence, it has everything that you say.

LOVE is your marriage’s bigger person; it is your first person to reach you, to take the stairs late in the evening and have you hurt, so both of you will not go to bed mad, full of rancor and hurt in your heart.

LOVE is appreciated by the best goddamn husband in the world who wants to be a better woman just to achieve his goodness, though he’s not close to a perfect man, just like you, with defects, weaknesses and foolish habits like the whole counter.

LOVE looks past the rubble on the counter. In the sink, the hair. After two days the compost and recycling boxes will still be at the end of the road. It pushes all this pointless crap to one side and says Thank God for the Mediterranean platter which entered your life back in 2008, has followed you stubbornly with a treasure to date, and has spent STAYED with you and supported you in that strange and unwanted world of chronic illness.

Whenever you see a newly-created hot water bottle or a lifting post-note on your computer, you realize that you were infinitely hurt.

  • It’s all right to take a break – Chronic Pain & Fibromyalgia Awareness

It’s all right to take a break – Chronic Pain & Fibromyalgia Awareness

I haven’t written anything for quite a while, as many of you may have noticed.  On some of the articles I have written in the past I have received very nice comments and I appreciate them, but I haven’t been able to keep them going. I’m going to be totally honest with you, recently I didn’t want to write anything.

I therefore had to stop thinking about why. Frankly, my health wasn’t great since the time was past. The last few months my symptoms got worse, my pain went up and thus I wasn’t mentally good, so I didn’t really know much about writing.

I know most of you, if not all of you! That’s not the only reason, however. I tried to think about new things, new ideas, new thoughts I had to give, and you know what I cannot really come up with. I’ve been trying to think about something new. I know there are tons of things that are comprehensive and otherwise written about this topic, but I don’t know anything right now!

Some of my earlier articles concerned specific topics or issues of interest. Symptoms, treatments, useful suggestions and so on. Others were letters to my rocks and support in my life. Others were letters I could give to physicians or others, even hypothetical letters, that could benefit from my understanding. There were some dark undertones that are not unusual when talking about fibromyalgia or chronic pain for some of my articles.

But positivity was one thing I tried to keep in all my articles. Set in the grey clouds that shield our new existence for that silver lining. We can get through this thing and survive the positive, proverbial backwards. Well, I didn’t even think about writing, let alone trying to find something positive to talk about, to be brutally honest. I don’t need sympathy now, I’m not honest at the least. It was only time to break away from many things in my life.

One thing we all know is that chronic pain or fibromyalgia really doesn’t really have much positive effect. And in some days, it is very difficult in everyday life to find the luminous spot which is not full of guilt, sorrow, anger, pain, self-compassion, etc. It may be difficult to wake up and hit the morning with bright eyes and bushy tails. Every day, we get up and try to deal with the day as best our mind and body can. We know what we want to do for the day and what our bodies can do in our minds.

Click here to Get these Products or Visit Fibromyalgia Store

Some days we are doing a lot more and paying for it the next day, but because most of us have a stubborn gene perhaps? That’s my problem, at least! But we’re continuing our day and doing what we can and need to do. And yeah, those days there are going to be the best we can look forward to coming out of bed to the bathroom, but you know??? That is all right! This is all right! Sometimes we just have to pause, stop and hear what your mind and your body need!

There is no correct or incorrect way of handling a chronic pain, no instructions manual. No list of different ways to respond to any particular situation, such as telemarketers that are prompted to reply to the answer you give for anything they attempt to sell. It’s not possible to judge how every day is going or how every hour is going for us on a given day. We might find a long “streak” of good days, or at least handy days, where we could feel like something was accomplished at the end of the day. I try as much as I can to enjoy them. A easy walk or time away can go a long way physically and mentally, enjoying nature. We then have the inevitable flare on our hands and knees that wants to see that animal with which we are dealing was not present. However, we are still moving on and on.

Most of us now look in the mirror and see someone who’s not the person before fibrous or chronic pain. We must learn to live a new life, learn new expectations, learn new limits, learn a new existence, essentially. “You’ve got to learn the concept of radical acceptance,” said my former therapist. I’m the first one to recognize, that’s a concept I fight with almost every day, and certainly some days longer than others. I have touched upon this in other articles, but in essence it means you have to accept what is going to be your life.

You don’t have to like the conditions, but you have to learn how to accept it and that your limits and skills will change. Learn from now on to live as your life is going to be. We will be able to adjust days and tolerate what they are like and we’ll be ready to throw in the towel other days. These are the days we really need to dig deep and find any ounce of hidden strength and don’t win our circumstances. Some days, as I said, we have to really look hard in order to find something positive, happy or thankful in every day. But don’t stop looking for it. Do not stop looking for it.

When everyone has to take a break, they come to a time of their lives. Reassess where or where things are going. It is time for reflection, to take a break, to recharge or to make a plan. a break is a good thing. Some might think it’s bad to take a break or we can’t deal with things. But having a physical and /or mental break is something that everybody needs every now and then, and that nobody tells you anything else. Since it’s a lot easier to say than done with most of the words of advice, I urge you to do this and don’t get guilty of it. Let the guilt go if you feel it creeps in. Ask for help if you need more than usual. If you can stay in bed and look after yourself most of the time, DO IT! When we need a break our minds and bodies can tell us, what we must do is learn to listen.

  • Can Fibro symptoms be exacerbated by menopause?

Can Fibro symptoms be exacerbated by menopause?

    Connection between menopause and fibromyalgia

The symptoms of fibromyalgia characterize widespread musculoskeletal pain, but can menopause exacerbate them? The relationship between menopause and fibromyalgia is therefore important to understand in women than males. Most of the females diagnosed with fibromyalgia have between 40 and 55 years of age. Research has shown that fibromyalgia symptoms are deteriorating after menopause in contrast to menstrual women.

    Enhancement of menopause symptoms

Women are more painful and sensitive after birth. After a child, hormones fluctuate enormously. The two have not been investigated together extensively, but many women in the research that I have done report having more sensitivity and pain from fibromyalgia after birth.

Fatigue, headaches, stroke, sleep disturbances, mood disturbances and overall pain have been reported by women before their cycle. Not all women had problems with their monthly cycle and fibromyalgia, but those who tended to have more symptoms during menopause as well. And if you continue to have menopause, the typical menopause is around 40 to 55 years old.

This also takes place around the age of fibromyalgia in many women. Fibromyalgia may affect men as well, but it mainly affects women. And some doctors have noticed that there has been a huge change in a woman’s hormones around the time of the menopause. It is reasonable, because most women are diagnosed during the age of medium, to have a link between menopause and fibrousness. Research suggests that menopausal and postmenopausal women may indeed have worse symptoms than menstrual women.

    Hormonal fluctuations

In women who are following menopause, the output of estrogens decreases by 40% and leads to symptoms such as depression, insomnia and anxiety. Hormonal menopause changes may also cause mood, sorrow, and sleeplessness, which can be exacerbated by sleepless nights. Calcium loss and other minerals may also lead to bone aches. Menopause symptoms are very similar to fibromyalgia, so they can feel much worse in combination. The broad consensus is that the deterioration of the symptoms of fibromyalgia in menopause results from a reduction in estrogen, but more research is needed to improve understanding of the relationship between the two.

    Low thyroid hormones

Fatigue, depression, anxiety, muscular ache and very common fibromyalgia symptoms have been shown by researchers to be low in Thyroid functions and decreased thyroid hormones, as well as progeston and estrogen. Yet, because there is insufficient research into this the correlation between fibromyalgia and menopause remains unknown. Thankfully, further research will be undertaken to determine whether fibromyalgia begins with low hormones, such as estrogen.

    Natural treatment

Natural therapies have demonstrated their effectiveness in addressing causes in alleviating the symptoms of fibromyalgia and menopause.

    • Avoid alcohol, sugar and caffeine since pain can deteriorate with these products.
    • Determine and treat any sensitivity to food.
    • Add fatty acids omega-3 to your diet as they are found in fish and flaxseeds.
    • Green foods such as alfalfa and wheat grass.
    • Siberian ginseng contributes to reducing stress effects on the body.
    • Passionflower and Valerian can contribute to restful sleep at night.
    • Black cohosh and natural progesterone cream reduce menopausal female fibromyalgia effect.
    • Melatonin can improve insomnia that is essential before it worsens in the treatment of these medical conditions.

Estrogen or other hormone replacement therapies

Menopause symptoms and fibromyalgia can have a bad impact not only physically but also mentally. The first step towards symptom relief is for other women like you to talk about it. You can feel connected instead of feeling alone by socializing with others. You can exchange experiences and stories and become mutually supportive. Your doctor may also apply estrogen or alternative hormone therapy to alleviate your symptoms of menopause.

Once your symptoms of menopause are alleviated, there will be no impact on you as much as you do on fibromyalgia. Bone and joint pain can occur, causing many of the fibro symptoms if you have low estrogen levels. For several years, if you have been on a type of HRT, this does not mean that you are on the right dose, because the needs of your body can change with time. Some women who have re-tested their hormones found that they are fully under-controlled so hormone testing should be part of your gynecological routine every few years.

Fibromyalgia symptoms in menopause medical treatment

    • The muscles and nerves relax magnesium and calcium.
    • SAMe has been successful in several fibromyalgia and menopausal treatment studies.
    • 5HTP is an addition that acts as a precursor to the serotonin neurotransmitter.
    • Men-aided digestive enzymes improve the absorption and digestion of food.
    • Acupuncture can be helpful with fibromyalgia and menopause pain relief and other symptoms.

     Low libido and vagina dryness

Also, discuss the low libido and dry vagina that can result from menopause and fibromyalgia with your doctor. Not only do they want sex once again, but they can also offer you solutions that you can enjoy without pain.

    Life style modifications

Diet changes were also suggested to help in the development of symptoms but this has not been proved medically. But for improved overall well-being, a healthy lifestyle is still advisable. It consists of regular exercises, good drinks, not smoking, extra weight management and alcohol consumption reduction. Healthy living can still be used to improve bones and cardiovascular health, reduce stress and improve other health issues, despite the fact that it cannot specifically be aimed at menopause and fibromyalgia.

  • In the case of fibromyalgia, I won’t apologize.

In the case of fibromyalgia, I won’t apologize.

I’m thirty-one years old, alone and I live with chronic fibromyalgia pain and fatigue. Don’t feel bad about me. Don’t feel bad about me. This isn’t the death penalty. Has this been a challenge? Yes. I do not get myself wrong, I have days when I can’t do all this, but stay with me. I have a life vision that is what I want to live, and I refuse to allow my invisible disease to stop me.

My fresh year at college was officially diagnosed. University. A time to learn, to grow and to enjoy. It’s time to recall, error, and truly begin to live. Let me tell you that. Let me tell you. I did that. I did. University was incredible. I have been living at the campus, making friends, learning a lot about myself, the world and about what I wanted and what I want to do. I have all the experience of college. And there was no fun stopping. I realized that while I have this terrible problem, I don’t have to run or ruin my life.

This is an extreme example, but I’ve always dreamed of skydiving, yet I didn’t know if it’s a fine idea because of my illness. Is my body going to be too stressful? Will it exacerbate the pain? What about the rapid changes in altitude? I stopped interrogating and began to live. I have gone 4 times now, and plan to go much further.

I’ve joined my friends in an adult kickball league. I’ll camp, hike, and go to the beach. I walk around the city in which I live and I’ll go to breweries and brunch. I spend some days hopping with friends around Philadelphia. I go on dates. I just go on dates. I volunteer. I’m aunt (in my opinion the coolest aunt), I keep up. I’m aunt. I’m running, I’m keeping babies down, I’m bending down. We’re playing, we’re laughing. I go to the fitness center and take yoga and kickboxing lessons. I’m going to baseball and soccer games. I just tailgate. I tailgate. I go to games for picnics. In the winter, I go to sleep and play in the snow.

You don’t need to show ignorant people your disease.

When you’re having bad days, it’s difficult, because people see you and see everything they do. They look like “normal person.” They see all your snappers, Facebook and Instagram posts from you out and around. Then you’ve got a day you can’t get out of the couch. You start to ask whether you really are “diseased” or just lazy or are searching for an excuse to cancel plans. You see how much you enjoy your life and live it, and you and your integrity start questioning it. You’re asking yourself so much. Have I got too hard to push myself? Shouldn’t I go to this concert? Should I skip the festival of beer? The answer is NEVER. Do not skip it. Do not skip it. Go. Take pleasure. Live.

Many people don’t understand what you’re experiencing. This is more than just physical pain. Depression, fear, fiber fog. The balance between good and bad days is unfair. You need to embrace them and enjoy them when you have good days (or even okay days). While fighting so horrifically, any person in pain or not should be confined to their houses and beds. It is so important to spend your life mentally and physically. It is YOUR life, nobody else is to enjoy it. Go to dinner. Get a drink now. Go bowling. Go watch that film. Don’t be scared. If you get something out of what I have to say, you’ll never excuse yourself for having fun in the face of this invisible disease. Living is your life and you are as entitled as anybody else to enjoy this. This is a lesson I have to remember every day, but my life has never been better since I embrace that attitude.

  • Ten Rich Foods High in Magnesium – Chronic Illness Awareness

Ten Rich Foods High in Magnesium – Chronic Illness Awareness

    What is magnesium?

Magnesium is a mineral that our bodies rely on to feel fit, healthy and full of vitality. It is a co-factor for hundreds of enzyme reactions within the body. These enzymes are vital for a variety of important processes such as the conversion of energy from carbohydrates, fats and protein, not to mention healthy DNA synthesis, blood sugar balance, bone health and a calm nervous system.”

Magnesium plays a central role in just about every bodily process, from the synthesis of DNA to the metabolism of insulin. Magnesium helps maintain the proper levels of other minerals such as calcium, potassium, and zinc. Your heart, muscles, and kidneys all need magnesium to work properly. The mineral also helps build teeth and bones. It’s involved in hundreds of chemical reactions in your body and helps you maintain good health. However, eating foods high in magnesium can help you meet the daily requirement. Here are 10 healthy foods that are high in magnesium.

    Spinach

One cup of boiled spinach has 157 mg of magnesium. Dark, leafy greens are rich with nutrients, and spinach is no exception. This green super food is also known for its high iron content. Spinach is packed with magnesium, especially when it’s cooked! Also add healthy oil like extra virgin olive oil to the meal to increase absorption of spinach’s high amounts of vitamins A, E, and K.

    Legumes

They’re very rich in many different nutrients, including magnesium. Legumes are a family of nutrient-dense plants that include lentils, beans, chickpeas, peas and soybeans. They’re a major source of protein for vegetarians. Legumes are also high in potassium and iron. They may lower cholesterol, improve blood sugar control and decrease heart disease risk because legumes are rich in fiber and have a low glycemic index. For instance, a 1-cup serving of cooked black beans contains an impressive 120 mg of magnesium, which is 30% of the RDI.

    Almonds

These crunchy nuts help lower cholesterol. We all love almonds, don’t we? They help prevent chronic degenerative disease especially in individuals who have type 2 diabetes; Almond oil improves the skin tone and complexion. A small handful of almonds (1 ounce) contains 20% of your daily requirements for magnesium. They also score high in vitamin E and manganese (that same handful of almonds offers over 1/3 of daily requirements for each).

    Black beans

Because of their high protein and fiber content and low fat and cholesterol black beans are a favorite vegetarian staple. They’re a rich source of magnesium: 1/2 cup = 60 mg. They help manage diabetes because their fiber has been shown to improve blood sugar levels; and their antioxidants quercetin and saponins are said to be heart-healing. Black beans help strengthen bones because their magnesium is also combined with high calcium and phosphorus.

    Quinoa

Quinoa is prepared and eaten in a way that’s similar to rice. It’s known for its many health benefits, including a high protein and mineral content. One cup of cooked quinoa has 118 mg of magnesium.

    Sunflower seeds

The magnesium in sunflower seeds has a variety of benefits it promotes heart health, prevents or treats asthma and arthritis, and more importantly, prevents certain types of cancer. The seeds are a super healthy snack for kids as well .They contains other minerals like calcium, potassium, and iron all of which are required for children’s growth and development.

    Plantain

They’re a staple food for millions of people in tropical countries due to their super dense source of starchy energy. In addition to magnesium (half a plantain offers 1/5 daily magnesium requirements), plantains also have iron and more potassium than bananas. Add this treat to your cart when you see it in the supermarket. And they’re rich in B vitamins, particularly B6, which not only reduces stress symptoms but heart attack and stroke risks.

    Tofu

It’s made by pressing soybean milk into soft white curds and is also known as “bean curd.” Tofu is often a staple food in vegetarian diets due to its high protein content. One serving also provides 10 grams of protein and 10% or more of the RDI for calcium, iron, manganese and selenium. Additionally, some studies suggest that eating tofu may protect the cells lining your arteries and reduce your risk of stomach cancer.

    Rockfish

All types of rockfish are good sources of magnesium (45 mg per 3-ounce serving), and thyroid-boosting selenium; a 3-ounce serving contains 65 mcg of selenium, a full day’s requirements. Also called Pacific red snapper and black bass, rockfish is a meaty white fish that’s quite rich in omega 3 fats (3 ounces has 1.5 grams fat), which adds to its taste.

    Cherries

Cherries are best food sources of magnesium. They have various benefits, one of them being their efficacy in helping people suffering from arthritis.

    Cashews

Another healthy snacking nut, cashews are also a good source of magnesium. One ounce has 74 mg of the mineral. Eat cashews by themselves or add them to a side salad for dinner.

    Benefits of magnesium

    Improves sleep quality

You may want to consider increasing your intake of magnesium-rich foods, if you suffer from insomnia. There is a connection between magnesium and sleep. Magnesium supplementation could help reduce insomnia. A supplement containing a mix of magnesium, melatonin and zinc improves sleep quality.

    Increase bone mineral density

Magnesium along with calcium and 70 other co-factor minerals is one of the major keys to increasing bone mineral density.

    Fight against depression

Magnesium could be as effective as antidepressants in treating depression. Magnesium has potent mood-boosting properties and can help fight against depression. Combine magnesium with other natural remedies for depression such as eating lots of probiotic-rich foods, getting in plenty of vitamin D, and minimizing your intake of refined carbs and sugar.

  • “The Cure” by Lady Gaga Powerfully Mirrors Life with Fibromyalgia in 3 Unexpectedly Honest Ways

“The Cure” by Lady Gaga Powerfully Mirrors Life with Fibromyalgia in 3 Unexpectedly Honest Ways

Lady Gaga has always been known for baring her soul through music, but in 2017, she gave the world a glimpse of something far deeper than stardom—her private struggle with fibromyalgia. In the documentary Gaga: Five Foot Two, she revealed the relentless, invisible burden of living with chronic pain, humanizing her larger-than-life persona. For those who also live with fibromyalgia, one song stood out as a lifeline: The Cure.

More than just a chart-topping single, The Cure has become a quiet anthem for those navigating the unpredictable storm of fibromyalgia. As someone who has lived with this condition since childhood, I see three remarkable ways in which this song resonates with the fibromyalgia experience—and why it has become a source of healing, empathy, and strength for many.

    1. The Little Things That Matter Most: When Small Acts of Care Feel Heroic

The opening lyrics of The Cure are:
“I’ll undress you, ’cause you’re tired / Cover you as you desire / When you fall asleep, I’ll be right there.”

To an outsider, these lines may seem romantic or comforting. But for someone with fibromyalgia, they describe something far more profound—simple acts of care that become lifelines on the hardest days. When your body is wracked with pain, even basic tasks like brushing your hair, preparing a meal, or walking up stairs can feel Herculean.

On flare days, even responding to a text or standing up from bed can be overwhelming. These are the moments when a gentle voice, a helpful hand, or someone just sitting beside you becomes invaluable. Lady Gaga sings of caring for someone in ways that many people with fibromyalgia crave but rarely receive. It’s a reminder that tenderness is powerful. A warm blanket, a softly spoken word, or a back rub can feel like acts of heroism.

This is not about pity. It’s about dignity through compassion. When someone recognizes your limits without judgment and offers help without hesitation, it validates your pain in a way few things can. The Cure gives voice to this need for care in its most human form.

    2. A Chronic Condition Without a Cure: The Emotional Weight of the Unknown

The refrain in The Cure echoes a promise:
“If I can’t find the cure, I’ll / I’ll fix you with my love.”

Fibromyalgia, frustratingly, has no known cure. This uncertainty is one of the most emotionally draining aspects of the condition. Every flare-up feels like a setback, and the inability to “heal” can leave both patients and their loved ones feeling helpless.

This line feels like a whisper from someone who understands the limitations of medicine but not of love. Gaga’s promise is not to fix what science hasn’t yet solved—but to stand by someone despite that. She acknowledges the void, then fills it with commitment. This emotional truth resonates deeply for those whose lives are colored by chronic illness.

Those who love us often feel powerless in the face of our pain. They wish they could wave a wand and make it all disappear. In the absence of a solution, their presence becomes the medicine. Gaga’s lyrics acknowledge this reality. She does not pretend to offer a miracle cure but speaks to the deeper healing that comes through unwavering support.

    3. Love Is Not a Cure—But It Can Be a Lifeline

Among the most memorable lines in The Cure are:
“Promise I’ll be the cure” and “I’ll fix you with my love.”

To someone unfamiliar with chronic illness, this might sound like a fairytale solution. For many fibromyalgia warriors, these lines are bittersweet. Love, as magical as it is, cannot reverse the pain, exhaustion, or fog that come with this diagnosis. However, it can redefine our reality.

The chronic nature of fibromyalgia can make sufferers feel isolated, misunderstood, and invisible. The symptoms are often invisible to others, and this invisibility leads to doubt—even among close friends or family. That disbelief is often more painful than the physical symptoms.

That’s why love, when it’s genuine and informed, matters so much. Belief in someone’s pain is the first act of love. From there, empathy builds bridges. Social support is more than emotional padding—it has been shown to ease pain perception and reduce the mental toll of chronic illness. When someone stands by you without needing proof, when they say “I believe you,” it shifts the emotional landscape.

So while Gaga’s “fix” may not be medical, it speaks to something equally powerful: the reassurance that someone sees you, supports you, and refuses to walk away.

A Song That Offers More Than Words

What makes The Cure so compelling is not its musical arrangement or its global appeal. It’s the way it becomes a mirror for those living with invisible illnesses. Whether you’re in the thick of a flare-up or just navigating the daily tightrope of energy and pain, the song offers a quiet sort of solidarity.

It becomes a friend when you feel forgotten. A whisper of strength when you feel weak. A reminder that even in the absence of a cure, there can still be healing. Not the kind that erases symptoms, but the kind that revives the soul.

This song might not change the course of fibromyalgia, but it changes how many of us carry it. It reframes weakness as worthiness, pain as poetry, and isolation as connection. And for that, it becomes more than a melody—it becomes a movement.
